While we specialize in brazilian and bikini waxing, we also offer waxing services for various areas of the body including arms, legs, underarms, and face. We are experienced in waxing sensitive areas and use high-quality wax to minimize discomfort.

The Bush Babe is currently only offering intimate waxing for women (brazilian, bikini, and buttocks). However, men are welcome to book any other body or facial waxing service.

While it is possible to shave in between waxing appointments, we do not recommend it as it can disrupt the hair growth cycle and affect the effectiveness of the waxing. Shaving between waxes can sometimes cause irritation and discomfort. To maintain smooth skin and optimal results, we recommend avoiding shaving and sticking to a regular waxing schedule.

Waxing is a popular hair removal method because it provides long-lasting results and continues to damage the hair follicle, which will make regrowth soft, fine, and slow. Additionally, waxing can help exfoliate the skin and remove dead skin cells, leaving the skin smoother and softer.

The duration of a wax depends on the area being treated. Brazilians are usually less than 15 minutes, while a full leg can take up to 30 minutes. Timing of individual services are listed when booking.

Please do not trim. If your hair is longer (over an inch) we may trim for you, however longer hair simply requires an adjustment in technique on our end.

In order to wax, we need to grab hair that’s at least 1/4 inch, or the length of a grain of rice. 2 weeks is the minimum amount of time you should be waiting to get waxed after shaving. 3 weeks of growth is preferred, and 4 weeks of growth is ideal for a smooth first time wax.

When you begin your waxing journey, waxing every 3-4 weeks is normal. After a few sessions, and depending on the person, the hair growth typically slows and you can push your appointments to 4-6 weeks apart. Everyone is different and we will continue to assess what is best for you.

The short answer is yes, however, it isn’t as bad as you are led to believe by the dramatization of social media and movies. The wax is removed quickly, and causes a fleeting discomfort. As you continue your waxing journey and remain consistent, your hair regrowth becomes less and less, meaning so does the sting. Don’t focus too much on the pain, sometimes it’s nice to feel alive 😉

Yes! Many professional waxing products are designed for sensitive skin and to be used in intimate areas. Intimate areas are sensitive for everyone, and we use products that help eliminate the chance of reaction or extreme discomfort. Your skin will be constantly monitored throughout the service. If you tend to experience a lot of redness or sensitivity after a wax, we highly suggest adding a cooling hydrojelly mask to your wax. Hydrojelly will allow the post wax serum to penetrate and relieve the skin as well as immediately cool down the skin alleviating redness and sensitivity.

The Bush Babe uses a blend of both hard and soft wax depending on the service. Both formulas are low temperature, hypoallergenic, and safe for sensitive skin.

Please be prepared to take care of your skin after waxing. Our pubic hair serves a purpose and it is to protect the delicate and sensitive skin of the mons pubis and vulva regions. When you remove body hair, it is now your responsibility to exfoliate and moisturize to keep the skin healthy and for the best results. Exfoliation should be done 2-3 times a week, and moisturizing needs to be daily. The Bush Babe offers effective and affordable waxing aftercare designed for waxed skin and intimate areas.

Due to the nature of pigmentation, for the most effective results, a product that reaches lower layers of the skin is crucial. Topical creams give a temporary result.
